My fiance and I are coming over from Australia for our honeymoon and I am really looking forward to seeing MVMCP. I wanted to know what time you can enter the park with the special event ticket and are all the rides open during the parade's/fireorks etc?

Congratulations, Jenna, on your upcoming wedding!  I honeymooned at Walt Disney World twenty years ago so I can tell you first-hand that it is a magical place to begin your lives together!

Although the dates and times for the 2011 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party have not yet been released, I imagine the entrance time for the party will be similar to that of years past.  Typically, ticket holders for this event can gain admission to the Magic Kingdom a bit before 7 pm, the stated start time for the party.  Of course, this could change, but for now that is what I would plan on.  Not all of the rides will be open during the Christmas party, but there will be plenty of marquee attractions and activities available to fill a very exciting evening.  Lines for rides are particularly short if you enjoy them during the parade and fireworks display.  However, Holiday Wishes (the fireworks spectacular) and Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade are so fabulous, I'm not sure you'll want to miss them.

Wishing you much fun as you plan your wedding and honeymoon!
