My fiancé' and I are traveling to WDW Oct 17 - 24, 11. Trying to determine if I MUST make reservations for all restaurants beforehand, or if we can wing it and still get into good places? We aren't sure of our itinerary so determining food is diffic

    Hi Jessica!

I would definitely recommend making your Advanced Dining Reservations as soon as possible and not to wait until you are in Walt Disney World to wing it because the Table Service restaurants are very popular in Walt Disney World.  Before I make my Advance Dining Reservations, I always make a skeleton plan of what parks that I will be in on what particular days by looking at the park hours and then I plan where I am going to eat from that.  If you make a particular reservation and find out that you won't be able to do it, then you can cancel it.  Just make sure that you cancel it as soon as you know that you are unable to make it to the reservation so that it will become available to other guests.  I also make a list of restaurants that I want to eat at on my trip and then prioritize them according to those I can't live without to the ones that I can take it or leave it.  There are times when you can get a walk-up reservation, but you are not guaranteed to receive one and you may have to wait a long time to be seated.  I have discovered that a little time spent planning will go a long way to making your next Walt Disney World vacation stress free!

I hope that you have lots of magical meals with your fiance on your next vacation at Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
