My fiancé and I are thinking about a honeymoon at Disney World next year, but we are unsure of where to start to plan it. All we know now is we definitely have to stop by Batuu! Have any tips?

Welcome to planDisney, Rose, and congratulations on your engagement! My husband and I took a trip to Walt Disney World Resort after our wedding in 2012, so I know firsthand that a Disney honeymoon is a magical experience that you won't forget. We all know that wedding planning is hard, but honeymoon planning doesn't have to be and I'm happy to walk you through exactly how to get started.

The first place you'll want to start is by booking your vacation package. You'll choose your Resort Hotel, how many days you want to spend in the Theme Parks, and you'll also have the opportunity to make your Disney Park Pass reservations, which we'll get into in a minute! There are some really romantic destinations to choose from, but I really love Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, or my favorite Resort Hotel for a special celebration, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

At the moment, Disney Park Pass system reservations are required to access the Theme Parks, and you'll make those after you've purchased your tickets. You'll be able to decide which Theme Park you want to spend each day of your vacation at, and I recommend at least one day at all of them. Since you're a Star Wars fan, I recommend two days at Disney's Hollywood Studios so you can fully experience Batuu! You do not want to miss taking on Kylo Ren and the First Order on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and you must have a Jedi Mind Trick at Oga's Cantina, so be sure to get yourself a reservation there!

Speaking of reservations, the next thing you'll want to do is make advance dining reservations, which you can do 60 days before your arrival. Since it's your honeymoon, you should treat yourselves to at least one romantic signature dining experience! I've tried almost every restaurant in the "World" and I recommend Narcoosee's, California Grill, or Le Cellier Steakhouse, which are all perfect for a celebratory meal.

We are happy to help you with every step of your honeymoon planning, Rose, and you're welcome to ask as many questions as you want as you pick your Resort Hotel, plan your days in the Theme Parks, and make your dining reservations! I know that we'd all be happy to contribute a little bit of pixie dust to your special trip.

    Have a magical day!
