Hi, My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon for April 23-29,2023. We are trying to plan ahead and would much rather be able to look at prices online as we are looking at multiple Disney resorts to stay at. When will the 2023 calendar open up?

Welcome to planDisney, Niki! Thanks so much for asking this great question. Congratulations on your engagement and finding your Prince Charming!

I can't think of a better place to start your Happily Ever After than The Most Magical Place on Earth! I can understand why you would want to plan ahead for your honeymoon. Some dates in 2023 are already available and you can reserve your hotel up to 499 days in advance of your arrival date. I'm so happy to hear you're already looking at the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels! With the magical theming, the close proximity to the theme parks, and all of the amazing amenities, you can't go wrong!

If your honeymoon budget allows for it, I would recommend choosing a resort hotel from the Deluxe Resorts category. My personal favorite is Disney's Yacht Club Resort for the incredible pool, Stormalong Bay, and the short walks to EPCOT and Disney's BoardWalk! The Deluxe resorts on the Monorail loop are also great choices that will put you within minutes of Magic Kingdom Park. No matter which resort you choose, you will receive complimentary transportation, and at this time guests that stay at a Deluxe resort can enjoy Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at select theme parks on select nights. This is great because you can sleep in, order a nice breakfast, and arrive at the theme parks with plenty of time left to ride lots of attractions!

I would also recommend taking a look at the Enchanting Extras Collection to choose a special experience or two that you and your husband can enjoy while you are at Walt Disney World Resort. My top picks are a private specialty cruise and a private poolside cabana. Both of these are magical, special experiences outside of the time you might spend at the theme parks. You might even consider a Capture Your Moment photo session at Magic Kingdom with Cinderella Castle in the background.

Another tip I have for you is to make advanced dining reservations and plan for some special meals in celebration of your vows. At this time, dining reservations can be made up to 60 days prior to your arrival date.

I hope you have fun planning your dream honeymoon and will stop by planDisney again with any additional questions. We're always here and happy to help!

    Smiles,
    Lisa
