My fiancé and I are looking to have a dinner at a Disney Springs restaurant instead of a wedding reception since we will only have about 30 people in our party. What restaurants could we go to for a wedding dinner?

Hi there Joseph, it's great to welcome you back to planDisney!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding; as a Disney Groom myself who got married this past January I'm always excited to help provide some tips and pointers to other Disney couples. In fact, my husband and I had a similar guest count and were thrilled to discover that a number of Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings venues could in fact accommodate more intimate celebrations but we also explored the idea of finding dining venues at Disney Springs that had options that might've also worked for the size of our wedding. From my research, here's a selection of the restaurants at Disney Springs that other Disney couples have used in the past for their group meals or receptions:

When we were looking at possible reception locations, we found that each restaurant differs from whether they have a Food & Beverage minimum expenditure, set menus, corkage or cake cutting fees, to whether they had a private space that was bookable for just our party. Note that there may be more Disney Springs restaurants with their own options for private parties and you'll often need to fill out a form on their respective websites to inquire about availability - most will want a confirmed date and in our experience, pricing tended to be higher while availability was lower on weekend evenings and during peak holiday seasons.

I found it particularly useful to find inspiration from real couples on the Disney Wedding Podcast, which helped us in getting close to considering locations such as Paddlefish or The Edison which also have ceremony options! (It's important to remember that Group Dining offerings are subject to change without prior notice, and may be at the discretion of each location's current management or the dedicated party/event coordination teams that they may have.)

I hope that this helps, Joseph; come back to planDisney again to ask me directly about any other wedding reception tips or ideas here at Walt Disney World Resort!

Wishing you both all the best as you celebrate saying "I do" at Disney Springs!
