Me and my fiancé are getting married in january 2018 and going to DW right after for the honeymoon. Is there anything special for newly weds I can read up on? Any activities or dinners etc? Anything ideas or references are great help.

    Hi Jeremy,

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. How wonderful to be taking your honeymoon at Walt Disney World!

Do pick up free celebration buttons. These are available at Guest Relations at the theme parks, as well as other locations throughout Walt Disney World. You can get buttons that say "Happily Ever After." Although no special treatment is guaranteed with these buttons, you never know when a little extra pixie dust might be sprinkled on your vacation. It is also really fun to hear cast members and other guests alike wishing you a happy celebration!

There is a website dedicated to Walt Disney World honeymoons. This page might give you some ideas, and has information about a honeymoon option called Enchanted Evening which includes special MagicBands, luggage tags, a fireworks party, and special treat. Currently, this is listed as only being available through 2017, and I am not sure if this package will continue. You can call Disney Honeymoons at 321-939-4610 (option 2) to speak with someone about your honeymoon and inquire about this package.

If you want something special in your room, how about this adorable "Ears to the Bride and Groom" gift? You can celebrate with sparkling cider and then will have Mickey and Minnie Mouse bride and groom ears to wear. Also for a special honeymoon trip, consider a fireworks cruise or romantic signature dining options.

I would love to help you plan your honeymoon more Jeremy; however, I am limited in the space that I have to answer. Please do write back if you have any further questions!
