Hannah from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Me and my fiancé are going to disneyworld for our honeymoon, I purchased a dining plan and we will be staying for 6 days, does that mean we get 6 meals for both of us or do I get 6 and my fiancé gets 6? First timer here.

    Hello Hannah!

Welcome to planDisney and congrats to you and your love! I love that you are celebrating your love together at Walt Disney World Resort and I hope it is full of magical memories.

Dining plans allocate guests meals and snacks based on how many nights you are staying at your Walt Disney World Resort. You said that you are staying six days so that could potentially mean five nights but only you know that answer. Now, let's say it is five nights, which means you and your soon-to-be-spouse will each be given five nights' worth of meals and snacks that can be used until midnight of the day you checkout.

If you purchased the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan then you and your spouse will get 2 Quick-Service Meals and 1 Snack or Nonalcoholic Drink. For five nights that means you each will get 10 Quick-Service Meals and five Snacks/Nonalcoholic Drinks to use in any combination during your trip. These meals and snacks will load into your account right at the beginning so you can choose to eat all five snacks on the first day and save the meals for the rest. Enjoy them in any combination you like!

The Disney Dining Plan gives guests 1 Quick-Service Meal, 1 Table-Service Meal, and 1 Snack or Nonalcoholic beverage for each night of their stay. If you are staying five nights then that means each of you will give five Quick-Service, five Table-Service, and five snacks or nonalcoholic beverages to use for your stay.

You can use the dining plan when ordering at the register or with a Cast Member and even with Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. I love Mobile Ordering my food as there are pictures and descriptions for each menu item and you can select how you make payment. You don't always have to use the dining plan when ordering and am happy paying a small fee for cheese sauce rather than using a snack allotment. I prefer to use my snacks and meals for higher-priced eligible items to get the best value.

I hope that this was helpful and if you have any further questions to make your trip go well you know where to go

    Happy Planning!
