Boo-To-You, Selina! Thanks for bringing this ghoulishly good question to planDisney!
Fall is one of my favorite times to visit
Walt Disney World Resort! I'm looking forward to attending
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party with some of my fellow planDisney panelists later this season. We're currently
planning our costumes and looking over the Disney Parks Blog
Foodie Guide for this year's event so that we can plan our must-have treats. I've got my eye on the Witches Cold Brew!
I'm pretty sure I know which special event you're referring to, Selina. Back in 2019, Guests attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party also had the opportunity to purchase a ticket to Cruella's Halloween Hide-A-Way Party. This add-on experience included refreshments at
Tony's Town Square Restaurant, a visit with Cruella de Vil, and a special reserved viewing area for
Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade. While this particular event is not being offered this year, there is another option to add some extra treats to your Halloween fun.
If you're interested in attending a delectable dessert party followed by wickedly good fireworks views, you can reserve a spot at
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace or
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing. Both of these events require a separate purchase and reservation in addition to your Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket. Guests attending these special dessert parties will check in for the event at
Tomorrowland Terrace 60-90 minutes before
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show. At Tomorrowland Terrace, dessert party Guests will be treated to delicious desserts, cheeses, and beverages, including an assortment of beer and wine for Guests ages 21 and over. After enjoying your refreshments, you will have the opportunity to watch the fireworks from a reserved area either at Tomorrowland Terrace or in the Plaza Garden.
Although there isn't an option to purchase an experience with special parade viewing at this year's party, I have found that I can usually grab a great spot for the second performance of Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade. Many families with young children leave the party on the earlier side, so the second parade performance tends to be much less crowded. I recommend finding a parade viewing spot for the second showing right after the fireworks end.
I hope this information is helpful as you get ready for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Wishing you a frightfully fun Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
