A few years ago we rented a stroller for our 3 yr. old and almost 2 yr. old and loved it. We will soon take our almost 1 yr. old. I'm afraid to get there and be unable to buckle her in. Do you know if the rental strollers have straps?

    Hi Kimberly,

If I were in your shoes (especially with a 1 year old child) I would definitely have my own stroller and not rent one at WDW.  There are a few reasons for my answer to you and the main reason is comfort.  The strollers that you rent at WDW are made of extremely hard plastic and they do not recline, so if you have an older child who wants to walk a lot and just use the stroller to give their legs a rest once in a while, these strollers are good for that, but not comfy enough at all for a 1 year old in my opinion.  They do have child restraints in them, but they are also very expensive to rent at WDW.  If you can bring your own with you, that is what I would do (I used to bring my daughters stroller with us all the way from Western Canada on multiple flights....a bit of a pain, but oh so worth it when she was comfy in her own stroller at WDW!).

    Best wishes,
