Hi There. A few years ago we were evacuated from Disney world due to hurricane Irma. We still had two days left on our tickets. How do I check to see if they are still good, and who would I contact?

Greetings Richard, and welcome to planDisney!

I'm glad to hEAR you stayed safe during Hurricane Irma, but I'm sorry you missed out on two days of your vacation. The Walt Disney World theme parks closed for a day and a half during this historic storm, so it's definitely possible that you still have some entitlements remaining on your tickets, even though under normal circumstances, they would have expired 14 days after their first use. Without knowing the exact ticket type you purchased and the specific policy four years ago regarding unused theme park days due to evacuation and closings, you'll need to call (407) 566-4985 and speak with a Cast Member about your options.

If you experience a brief hold while waiting to talk to someone, check out the Disney Parks Blog and find planDisney on social media to pass the time. With the 50th-anniversary celebration starting in just a couple of months, there's a lot of excitement on the horizon, and you won't want to miss any important announcements. It looks like you'll be arriving just after the event gets underway. Expect to see nighttime spectaculars, entertainment, and attraction openings. Best of luck with your tickets, and we'll see ya real soon!
