In a few weeks we will be visiting WDW with two twelve year old boys. They are not interested in character dining. Can you suggest a few places for diner (table service)? We already have reservations at Si-Fi and Sanaa. Thanks.

    Hi there Stephanie,

Sci-Fi is a great choice, but I think your sons would really have a blast at 'Ohana which is an island themed restaurant located in the Polynesian Resort.  Here, you will enjoy a family-style, polynesian-inspired meal consisting of roasted meats, delicious sides, and the best dessert on property... The banana-caramel bread pudding that is TO DIE FOR!!!

I also think they'd really dig Whispering Canyon Cafe over at the Wilderness Lodge Resort.  Be sure to ask for "extra ketchup" and "extra soda" for a rootin' tootin' surprise!  The loud and lively atmosphere is one that your boys will love... trust me.... I just asked a 12 year old for his advice and Sci-Fi, Whispering Canyon, and 'Ohana were his top 3!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
