Hi Kimberley,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I admit I’m geeking out about your 1993 ticket – make sure you take a picture of it before you hand it over at the theme park!
I reached out to Guest Relations to find out how to best handle your ticket. They told me that tickets purchased before 2010 typically need to be presented at a Guest Services window at the front of any Walt Disney World theme park to be converted to a current ticket. She recommended that you contact the Walt Disney World Internet Help Desk at (407) 939-7765 to see if the ticket can be linked to your My Disney Experience account in advance; if it can be linked, this will allow you to make FastPass+ reservations. You will need the number on the back of the ticket, along with either the credit card that was used to purchase the ticket or the season and theme park where the ticket was last used. If the ticket can be linked, the Cast Member on the phone will walk you through the steps and you will be able to select FastPass+ reservations, but please be prepared that there’s a chance the ticket will not be able to be linked, in which case you will need to make FastPass+ selections once you present your ticket in person at Walt Disney World, either using the My Disney Experience app or using the FastPass+ kiosks in the parks.
Kimberley, you should be able to make
dining reservations within 180 days of your visit, even if your ticket is not linked. You may do this on the Walt Disney World website or using your
My Disney Experience mobile app.
Good luck with that special ticket – I’ve got my fingers crossed for you!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
