    Hello, in just a few short weeks my family and I will be staying at Disney port orland french quarter. My son is 3 yrs old and is still learning to swim. Do they have puddle jumpers at the hotel pool?

    Hi there, Joe!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Can you believe your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here so soon?!?!  Before you know it, you will be enjoying all the magic that comes with a Walt Disney World Resort vacation and making some incredible memories with your family!

    My New Orleans-bred husband absolutely loves Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and I can say I totally agree with him!  The French Quarter vibes felt throughout it makes him feel like he is back home and you can’t forget about the incredible Cajun-dining at the neighboring Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside!  And although my boys don’t tend to appreciate the unique theme throughout the Resorts, they do love the pools!  Doubloon Lagoon is their favorite place to splash around and we all enjoy a relaxing evening after a long day at the theme parks.  In fact, we will often opt to fit in an entire “pool-day” midway through our trip to relax and enjoy some downtime before finishing up our vacation!  Complimentary life jackets (in all sizes) are available at all Walt Disney World Resort Hotel pools, but they are the traditional life vest-type.  So, if your little one (or you!) are more comfortable using a puddle jumper, go ahead and put that in your suitcase and bring it along with you!
