Hi, Jesse! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I'm so excited to hEAR that you are
planning a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort! As someone who is already well-acquainted with Mickey's west coast home, I'm sure you will find the same familiar magic while exploring a whole new world at Walt Disney World Resort.
Unfortunately, as a
Disneyland Resort Annual Passholder, you will not be able to use your discount at Walt Disney World Resort unless you decide to upgrade to a
Disney Premier Passport. A Disney Premier Passport allows you to enjoy admission to both Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida for an entire yEAR. Upgrading your Annual Pass to a Disney Premier Passport can be done on either coast. In addition to merchandise and dining discounts, a Disney Premier Passport would allow you to enjoy other perks such as
Disney PhotoPass Service downloads and theme park
parking during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
In my opinion, it's never too early to start planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I'm always dreaming of my next visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Typically, Walt Disney World Resort
vacation packages for the upcoming yEAR are released during the summer. For example, vacation packages for 2021 became available to book in June of 2020. When those vacation packages open up, it's a great time to start thinking about which
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you would like to call your home away from home.
I would recommend booking your vacation as early as possible to make sure your first choice of dates and resort hotels are available. If a
special offer happens to become available after you book your trip, you always have the option to modify your vacation package to take advantage of it. I like to book my visits at least six months in advance so that I have plenty of time to plan my
dining reservations and other
special experiences.
Although the booking windows for most experiences are different right now during Walt Disney World Resort's
phased reopening process, plans for dining and many other events used to be able to be made 180 days in advance. I would recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog to see if any changes to this are announced.
