Hi Moms! Just a few questions about Remy. How long does dinner usually take? Is 8:00 a good start time or is it too late? Also, I saw no sandals for the dress code. Would this include dressier sandals (black, high heels) or just casual sandals? Thanks!

    Ahoy, Paula!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great dining question. I sometimes close my eyes and imagine myself dining at Remy again... wow - I really miss it now. The dining experience at Remy is downright spectacular -- it's been really really tough to find a place on land to even equal the dining and service that you experience while at Remy. There is an amazing amount of food preparation techniques used -- I couldn't believe at how every little piece of food on my plate had a unique taste.

Dining at Remy could easily go past 2 hours. My husband and I dined there last month, and we were there for almost 3 hours. You definitely want to relax and enjoy every moment while you're there. If you don't mind starting dinner at that time and ending later, then you should be just fine. But if you think you might want to enjoy a late night stroll on the decks after dinner, or maybe stop by one of the lounges playing live music afterwards -- then you might want to move your dinner reservations to an earlier time. No matter what time you end up dining there, you're bound to have an awesome dinner date. You will not be rushed by anyone at all. The servers take the utmost care to make sure that you are well taken cared of at dinner. The chef will take the time to stop by each table to make sure that everyone is enjoying their meal. I loved everything that I had there and the wine selection is also extensive.

The dress code will be strictly enforced. Dressier high heeled sandals should be just fine. I'm sure you'll look smashing that evening all glammed up for your romantic dinner.

Hope this helps, Paula. Let us know if you have any other questions that we can help with.

    Have a great day!
