Hi! Few questions regarding the basic dining plan: Is BOG lunch considered a quick service credit? Can you get an appetizer in place of dessert? Is it ok for my family of 4 to only use 2 credits at a table service meal and share between us? Thank you! :)

    Hi Tracy!

Your questions are making me hungry. The Disney Dining Plan is a great option for many families, but it can be a little overwhelming to figure out. Lunch and breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant use one Quick Service entitlement per person, only dinner requires a Table Service credit. The Disney Dining Plan includes your desert and, according to the plan, appetizers can not be substituted. The same goes for sharing meals: the rules state you are not permitted to share meals on the Disney Dining Plan. The only exception is when you're sharing a meal with a child under three years of age.

Please let us know if you have any other questions, Tracy.

    Have a magical day,
    Ashley
