Hello! i have a few questions Hopefully you can help! I am going to be at Disney World from December 1st to the 11th this year and my wife and i have 3 kids (9,6,4) Funnest places to eat? Should i set 2 days for each Park? Which Parks on the weekends

Oh, Mike, I am so excited for you!  The Disney parks and resorts are simply gorgeous in early December.  You picked the perfect time of year to schedule your Walt Disney World vacation.

There are dozens of fun restaurants for your family to enjoy.  Here are a few of my favorites:

Chef Mickey's is the quintessential character dining experience.  Your kids will love dining with "the big cheese" and his friends as the iconic monorails glide overhead.  The extensive buffet at this restaurant will make everyone in your travel party happy.

If meeting the Disney princesses is on your family's to-do list, then head to Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot or Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom.  Your kids will feel like royalty at either of these magical dining experiences.

If you're looking for a rootin', tootin' good time, then schedule a dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe in the lobby of Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  There are no Disney characters at this restaurant but the waitstaff are pretty hysterical.  I guarantee your children will enjoy the shenanigans that go on at this western themed restaurant.

For breakfast, I highly recommend either the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom (where you'll meet Winnie the Pooh and friends) or 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort (where Stitch is known to make frequent appearances).  Both of these breakfasts are incredibly fun!

Let us know if you need additional suggestions and don't forget to call (407) WDW-DINE to make advance dining reservations once you decide where you'd like to eat.

    Jill

PS.  Epcot is the best park for the weekends because it is so spacious.  Smaller theme parks like the Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios seem to bear the weekend crowds less well.  Two days per park sounds perfect!
