Hi Nicole!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm happy to help with your question today. It sounds like you are just a week away from a stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. You are going to love waking up in the magic and strolling back to your resort at the end of the night. I can see you are already well aware of some of the pixie-dusted perks that come with being a hotel Guest at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Early Entry is a great way to start your park day - 30 magical minutes before opening just for hotel Guests. One park per day offers Early Entry, and I'm happy to report that taking advantage of this perk is very easy. You can identify which park is hosting Early Entry by checking the
Park Hours on the website or in the Disneyland Mobile App. When you arrive at the Main Entrance Esplanade, there will be a sign indicating the entrance for Early Entry Guests. If you want to get a jump on the crowd, I would recommend lining up about 30 minutes ahead of time, but generally speaking, the line moves pretty quickly and you will be twirling in a tea cup in no time.
When you get to the front of the line, you will need to show your hotel reservation - I find this is easiest to do via the Disneyland App. Guests who are two years old and under do not require a
theme park ticket, so I do not anticipate that there will be an issue entering with your infant. That being said, Disneyland Resort hotel bookings do ask that all room occupants are listed on the reservation. If you missed this step when booking, no worries! You can very easily add your Mouseketeer to your reservation to ensure a smooth entry by giving the
Hotel Guest Services team a call at (714) 956-6425. They will be happy to update your reservation for you!
While you're looking through the Park Hours, you will also see the entertainment schedule for the day. When my kids were little, they were so excited to see their favorite pals like Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy ... but from a distance. They weren't quite ready for those famous hugs! We always made it a point to catch a parade where we could wave to the characters from a safe-to-them distance. These moments were so special and felt just as interactive as being up close with Donald himself. It looks like the Mickey & Friends Cavalcade is currently scheduled to hit Main Street at 1:45 PM and 2:45 PM on your park day! Just a tip as I know you have little ones in tow!
Nicole, I sure hope this was helpful! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
Tara
