    Few questions about Disney Gift Cards. Can you use them to pay for: Fantasia Fairways, our golf cart rental, Minnie Van ride, Aerophile-balloon, carriage rides, popcorn bucket? Hints on where we can & can't use them would be appreciated! TY

    Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    A Disney Gift Card makes for a really convenient way to pay for so many purchases throughout your Walt Disney World vacation — shopping, dining, recreation — and I've made great use of them on most of my recent trips to pay for meals and snacks and merchandise. You can also use Disney Gift Cards for recreation that requires reservations like the Carriage Rides you mention. You can check out the Disney Gift Card site for more details on gift card features. While a comprehensive list of locations that accept Disney Gift Cards would be really extensive, I can share a few tips on locations where Disney Gift Cards currently wouldn't be an option for payment. The Aerophile Balloon Flight and AMC Movies at Disney Springs, for example, currently do not accept Disney Gift Cards as payment. The balloon vendors you see walking around Magic Kingdom Park are also unable to take Disney Gift Cards. As for popcorn carts and snack stands, most of those locations generally do accept Disney Gift Cards if they have a card reader. The Minnie Van Service uses the Lyft mobile app and would accept Lyft payment methods that include major credit cards, checking account-based debit cards, Lyft Gift Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Android Pay.
