hello! I have a few questions. completely overwhelmed with the info/lack of info :) we are headed to magic kingdom for spring break. do you think the park will be less packed on Easter? what are cooler and food restrictions? which characters are at meals?

    Hi, Heidi!

I want your trip to be magical, not stressful, so hopefully I can help you out a bit!

With so many kids out of school for Spring Break, the parks will be quite crowded the weeks before and after Easter. I looked at some crowd calendars (no proof these work, but I always check them) and the calendars point to Animal Kingdom to be the least crowded on Easter Sunday. Regardless of which park you choose on Easter, get there early, and have your FastPass+ selections secured. Once it gets too crowded in the parks, call it a day and relax at your resort pool. It's not worth getting overwhelmed by crowds.

You are welcome to bring in a small, soft sided cooler into the theme parks. You can bring non-alcoholic beverages, but no glass bottles. Bottles of water or cans of soda are fine. Food and/or snacks are also permitted. This is a great way to save time in lines for snacks, and also save a few dollars.

Characters vary depending on dining location. This list of character dining locations should help.  Click on each restaurant for locations and what characters you may see when dining. Character dining locations book up very quickly, so make sure to book some reservations as soon as possible. This can be done online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE.

Please let me know if you have more questions. I want this to be as stress-free of a vacation as possible for you!
