Hi Hannah,
Thanks for stopping by with your question. We love to take pictures with my family, be it in front of Cinderella Castle or when having fun with the characters. Jawas love selfies! I used to carry a heavy and bulky camera bag and took pictures of my family but I was never in the shot.
Disney PhotoPass Service is an excellent option allowing you leave your camera behind and to be in the picture. All you need is to ask the friendly PhotoPass photographers and they'll take some awesome and magical shots. The pictures they take will be linked to your magic band or you may request a free PhotoPass card.
Later, when you have some down time, you can check out all the pictures taken, at one of the camera centers inside the parks, the
Disney PhotoPass web site, or via the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. And you will have the option to purchase a digital download, prints or many other gift options. At this time, prices for prints start at $14.95 and a high resolution download costs $14.95.
You may want to consider
Memory Maker which will allow you to download all the pictures taken by the PhotoPass photographers during your stay, as well as attraction photos and videos, and many more. Currently the cost is $169 however you may purchase it in advance for only $149. A brand new option exclusively available via the My Disney Experience App, is a single day Memory Maker which costs only $49.
Oh, almost forgot. The photographers will be very glad to take a picture with your own camera or phone. At this time, note that holograms might not be available as an option, however you can rest assured that you will end with a perfect shot.
Ricardo.
