Hi Moms! A few of my friends and I are planning a trip to Disney World this winter. I'm wondering when it would be better to go December 15-19 or January 8-12? I know they both have the dinning plan deal right now but I'm not sure when will be less crowded

    Hi Ashley,

Based solely on crowds, January 8-12 would be less crowded. As long as you stay away from Martin Luther King weekend as well as around New Year's, January is an excellent month to tour WDW for low crowds.

My husband and I have been traveling to WDW in January for over 20 years to take advantage of the low crowds.

Note that your December dates are only slightly more crowded and would offer a chance to see the beautiful holiday decor at Disney.

Best wishes for a wonderful vacation with your friends!
