    Hi, I have a few dates in mind for 2013 and was wondering which one you thought would be best and less crowds from American schools. March 28th - April 18th, May 24th -J une 14th and anytime from July 19th - Septmeber 7th. July onwards better as no work. x

    Hi, Dana! Avoiding Americans can be awesome. Especially when I'm in my pajamas. But let's not talk about that, let's talk about you!

    Out of those three timeframes you listed for 2013, the least crowded span will likely be from mid-August through early-September. If you went with the March 28 to April 18 trip, you'd be battling spring breaks and Easter crowds. If you went with May 24 to June 14, summer crowds would start picking up a little (but school would still in session for many out-of-towners).
