Hello, a few basic questions: 1-When ground transport escorts us from Orlando to Port Canaveral, will they provide a car seat for our 2y/o toddler? 2-Will the cruise line offer a stroller? 3- & lastly if we use the nursery, how do we tip? thank you!!!

    Hello Samantha -

Excitement is in the air, and your magical voyage is almost here! The Disney Cruise ground transportation is a wonderful way of getting you from the Disney Resorts to Port Canaveral. It's definitely the most convenient way and Disney makes it so much easier for families by handling the check in luggage for you. Baggage handling will be taken cared of from your Disney Resort and it is whisked away to be delivered to your Disney Cruise Stateroom on the afternoon of embarkation.

When riding on any of the Disney motor coaches, there are no car seats for infants and children younger than 3 years old (aka lap child). So, your little cruiser can sit on your lap through the comfortable ride to Port Canaveral.

If you definitely think you will use a stroller for your toddler, you might want to think of bringing a small umbrella type. These usually fold easily and don't take up too much space. If you'd like to chance it, there are also a limited number of strollers on the ship. It is available on a first come first served basis, so it's difficult to give you the assurance that you'll get one when you come onboard. You'll need to check with Guest Services once you get on the ship for availability. If they do have one for you, you can rent these out for the duration of your voyage. There is a $200 deposit that will be placed on your stateroom folio, and upon return of the stroller, the deposit is credited back to you.

The Nursery is a wonderful place for your toddler to spend some magical play time in! The Youth Counselors are wonderful, and tipping is not required. However, your recognition of their awesome work with the kids would be much appreciated... please make sure you mention the cast member's name on the Disney Survey at the end of your cruise. Those magical moments are savored and everyone loves hearing about it!

Let us know if you need any other info - we're always glad to help!
