    Will the Festival of the Lion King be open March 13-17, 2014?

    Hi Arlene,

    The Festival of the Lion King closed on January 5, 2014 to begin it's relocation to a new theater that is being built in Africa. According to Guest Relations, it is currently slated to be closed for approximately 6 months. The specific date of anticipated reopening has not been released yet. You will want to pick up a Times Guide upon entering the Animal Kingdom Park to see if by chance it is open when you visit.

    I'm sorry that you most likely will not be able to enjoy the show on this visit. It will give you a good reason to plan another trip to the Happiest Place on Earth next year.
