Is the festival of the Lion King closing in Animal Kingdom?

Welcome to planDisney, Dawn! I must be honest; your question gave this huge fan of “Festival of the Lion King” a bit of momentary panic! But, in the end, "Hakuna Matata," because all is well in the world of this incredibly fun show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Festival of the Lion King will continue to be performed, with multiple daily performances, in Harambe Theatre at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! The 40-minute extravaganza is currently posted to perform at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00 daily!

I believe the confusion was created with the final performance of “Tale of the Lion King” which was performed in Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland in California. This show ended its run earlier this month.

So, Dawn, as my friend Rafiki says, "It is time!" Prepare to take in the music, story, and acrobatic talents that are showcased in “Festival of the Lion King.”

    Dreams do come true!
