Hi Kara! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! Is there a better time to visit Walt Disney World than on yet another anniversary of its opening! October 1st marks a special day for the Walt Disney World Resort, specifically for the Magic Kingdom Park! Luckily, the
50th Anniversary Celebration will still be underway during this time with all of the special treats and experiences still going on. Disney wanted to give all Guests the opportunity to be a part of this momentous occasion! Be on the lookout for treats and snacks throughout all of the parks and resorts. There are plenty of options to try during your stay!
I have great news for you, Kara! The
Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise has returned to the Walt Disney World Resort as of late last year. It is currently scheduled to sail on many Wednesday and Saturday nights through the end of August. I anticipate more dates being released in the coming weeks for dates extending into the Fall. Keep checking the website for more information or follow along to the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements. With
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party beginning on August 12th and running until the end of October, there are many dates throughout this time period where Disney Enchantment will not be shown. Luckily, none of these party dates fall on any Wednesday or Saturday evenings, so I would expect the current schedule to stay as is.
If you're interested in any
other specialty cruises, you can view Harmonious from a chartered boat as well. This cruise leaves from Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts and takes you toward the International Gateway by the World Showcase Lagoon to get an amazing view of this show. I can't tell you enough how beautiful and amazing this nighttime spectacular is. There are countless Disney touches that tell a wonderful story between the projections, fireworks, and music!
Kara, I hope you have a magical time during your upcoming visit. I love that you are taking advantage of this
Enchanting Extra!
See ya real soon!
