Hi Michelle,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. With the tropical theme of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and the super-sized musical fun at Disney's All-Star Resort, you will choose a great resort either way!
In my opinion, the most important factor for the choice between a room at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and a family suite at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort is the number of people in your traveling party. A room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will sleep up to five adult guests, and a family suite at Disney's All-Star Music Resort will sleep up to six adult guests. If you are traveling with six adult guests, you will need the family suite. The family suite is larger than a typical hotel room, and also has two bathrooms. If you have a slightly larger traveling party, the second bathroom might be very important for getting ready quickly before heading out to the theme parks!
Given this, my advice is that if you have a slightly larger party, perhaps four, five or six guests, I would choose the family suite. If you are traveling solo or in a party of two or three, I would likely choose the room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. This is because I do prefer the theme at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, which is a personal choice. Also, because Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a moderate level resort while Disney's All-Star Music is a value level resort, there are more dining options at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Either way, I am sure you will have a wonderful stay!
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Michelle. Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
