My father in law is also a veteran and he has used the military discounts on his visits to the Walt Disney World Resort. As of right now you can purchase
4-Day Military Promotional Tickets (this includes the park hopper option) through September 30, 2015. The price is in my opinion fantastic at $177 plus tax. If you also want to visit any of the water parks, you can add on the Water Park Fun & More option for just $30 more plus tax. Although this promotion is available through September 30, 2015 as of right now, it has been my experience in the past that Disney has extended this offer. I am hoping that they do that again this year.
You also can always call and ask when booking your resort hotel reservation if there are any military discounts available for your room. My father in law has also always had good luck with this! We have had nothing but positive experiences when using any of the military discounts offered. I would suggest that if the military salute is extended that you take full advantage of it! After all you deserve it!
