Ahoy, Samantha!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question.
Taking a break from the sun and popping in to the
Buena Vista Theatre to catch a first-run movie is one of my favorite things to do on a Disney Cruise Line vacation. If I know that Disney is releasing a new movie before a sailing, I'll usually wait until our cruise to enjoy the show!
You'll certainly be able to catch some of Disney's newest releases and summer blockbusters on your sailing of the
Disney Magic, and since the newest Winnie the Pooh story,
Christopher Robin, has a PremEAR date of August 3rd - you should be able to see it while out on the high seas with Captain Mickey and his crew. I checked with the folks at Disney Cruise Line to see which other movies you may be able to enjoy during your sailing:
- Dr. Strange
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
- Thor: Ragnarok
- Coco
- Black Panther
- A Wrinkle in Time
- Avengers: Infinity War
- Solo: A Star Wars Story
- The Incredibles 2
- Ant Man & The Wasp
While this list is always subject to change, it looks like an action-packed lineup! Pass the popcorn, it's movie time!
You'll be able to find a schedule of movie showtimes in your Personal Navigator, a detailed newsletter delivered to your stateroom every day, on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, and on the marquee outside the Buena Vista Theatre.
I hope this helps with your planning - have a picture-perfect day! - Diane W.
