Hello fellow Disney lover, my young adult son who has a cognitive disability is obsessed with Peter Pan characters, especially Wendy Darling, I haven’t seen her last time I was at MK in May, is she still there, I’m thinking of taking him this October?

Hello, Adrianne! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My daughter also loves meeting Wendy along with Peter Pan whenever we have the chance to do so at Magic Kingdom Park. Unfortunately, since the two of them seem to flit off to Neverland on a regular basis, they don’t have the same regular greeting schedule as some of the other Characters in Fantasyland. I would recommend checking your My Disney Experience mobile app to see if a schedule for either is posted there. From your home screen, simply tap the down arrow at the top of the screen and choose “Characters” from the drop-down menu. You can then tap "Filter" to narrow your focus to Magic Kingdom Park.

If you’re in the Theme Park, you can also pick up a Times Guide to see when and where Characters will be available on the day of your visit. You can also stop by Guest Relations to see if you might be able to get additional information about the possibility of meeting these two. If they’re out greeting Guests, they’re typically in front of the Neverland mural to the right of Peter Pan’s Flight (between that building and Columbia Harbour House).

I do hope your son has the chance to meet his favorites this Fall! October is a wonderful time of year to visit Magic Kingdom Park no matter what, though. Enjoy your visit, Adrianne, and please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you have a pixie-dusted time.
