Hi there, Andrew, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you're here with this great question about the horses at Walt Disney World Resort! You must be getting so excited for your visit - you'll be arriving in just a few short days!
Andrew, I did some research about the beloved
horses at Walt Disney World Resort and found that they are carefully monitored and receive a well-balanced diet, along with regular grooming, medical care, and even new horseshoes every few weeks. It sounds like Guests are not allowed to feed the horses, but you'll enjoy watching them and identifying different breeds like Appaloosas, Belgians, Clydesdales, Percherons, and even Shetland Ponies at
Tri-Circle-D Ranch.
Horse lovers will love the
trail rides and
carriage rides, which are available for advance booking. The
pony rides, and
wagon rides are available on a walk-up basis. Did you know that
Holiday Sleigh Rides are offered in December?
Andrew, I hope this is helpful to you as you plan your visit. Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon!
Jennifer
