Hi there, Mikayla, and welcome to planDisney!
Living in the Sunshine State is already amazing, but adding frequent trips to The Most Magical Place on Earth is even sweeter. As a local to the Disney Parks, I find that sometimes I visit the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels more than I step into the theme parks. So, Mikayla, I have very good news for you ahead.
Currently, there is no parking fee when visiting the Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Do keep in mind that sometimes you will be given a set amount of time to park though (I have been given a three-hour pass once). When you arrive at the hotel's entrance, have your photo identification ready to go for the security guard and let them know that you will be dining, shopping, or enjoying an experience at the hotel.
I highly recommend that you have an advance dining reservation to one of the on-site restaurants. For example, make a dinner reservation for
'Ohana if you would like to watch the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort's beach after your meal. This is because parking for non-hotel Guests and those without a dining reservation is not guaranteed. Especially if it's a busier time, you'll find that parking allowances are stricter. Parking is totally at the discretion of the security guard.
Mikayla, please
revisit us here at planDisney if you have any other questions about your upcoming visits. I'd love to share some of my favorite things to do outside of the Disney Parks. See you real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
