Hi, We're going in February and are wondering if it's possible to pre-register our grandson in the Oceaneers program on line before the cruise? I'd love to avoid as many lines as possible.

    Hi, Jennie!

You absolutely can register your grandson in Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab online before you set sail. What you'll need to do is access your reservation on the DisneyCruise.com Planning Center.

Once your cruise is paid in full, you'll have the opportunity to reserve and register for a wide-variety of on board activities such as registration for the youth activities spaces. If you have sailed with Disney before, your window of opportunity is anywhere from 90-120 days before you sail depending on how many cruises you've completed, and if this is your first Disney cruise, you'll check in online about 30 days in advance.

When you arrive at the port terminal, you can receive a Mickey Band for Disney's Oceaneer Club/Lab -- or he can get one the first time your grandson arrives at one of the youth spaces. This is how they'll keep track of important information about your grandson and how to get in touch with you. You'll also want to turn the band in before midnight on the last evening of your cruise to avoid any charges to your shipboard account.

I hope this helps you plan, and let me know if I can be of further assistance. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation.

    Bon voyage,

    Andi
