What is February weather/temperature usually like? Will my kids be able to swim? How about December?

Well Laurie as we all know "mother nature" is hard to predict!  But the average temperatures in February will range from the highs of 74 to the lows of 51.  December is very similar with highs around 73 and lows around 53.  Both months average only around 2.3 inches of rain making it some of the best times to avoid those pestering afternoon rain showers that one finds in the summer months.

I always advise guests to think about this time of year as layering when it comes to clothes.  It will be chilly early in the morning when you head out to the parks but will warm up rapidly when the sun comes out. Then again in the evening it cools down.  With that said, swimming is possible but it is recommended for the sunny and warmer afternoon hours.  All Disney pools are heated to 82 degrees so that is not an issue but the air is quite cool if you head out early.
