Greetings, Walter, and welcome to planDisney! Love will be in the air on February 17, 2026 – Disneyland Park will be closing early that day for the last Sweethearts' Nite of the year. Let's talk about this darling event!
Disneyland hosts a series of
Disneyland After Dark events in the first few months of the year. These are themed, separately ticketed events that are a lot of fun.
Sweethearts' Nite is scheduled for nine different dates, featuring
special entertainment, themed photo opportunities, exclusive food and drink options, rare Character appearances, and more. I love that there will also be Disney Duets karaoke hosted at the Golden Horseshoe!
Tickets will
go on sale to the general public on December 11, 2025, and a little earlier for Magic Key holders. These events are popular and have sold out quickly in the past, so I recommend getting tickets as soon as you can if you're interested in going. The cost starts at $159 per ticket. Keep in mind that these tickets may not be resold or transferred, so make sure you purchase them only from the Disneyland website.
If you have a park hopper ticket, you should be able to head over to California Adventure for an hour or two more after leaving Disneyland, should you decide not to get tickets to Sweethearts' Nite. We'll have a better idea of how late it will stay open around six weeks out, when mid-February dates appear on the
Hours & Events Calendar. Other options include spending time exploring the
Downtown Disney District or enjoying the Disneyland Resort hotel lounges.
Lastly, if your travel dates are flexible, you could also
modify your reservation to a date when Disneyland does not close early.
Give it some thought, though, since the
After Dark events are a lot of fun. It would make a great addition to your trip.
