Hello, Jane! Welcome aboard planDisney. I'm happy you sailed to us with your question.
It won't be long till you are embarking on the
Disney Magic and stepping into the best vacation at sea. Get ready for a fantastic time! It all starts with lunch, soon after boarding the ship. In my experience,
Rapunzel's Royal Table is typically the main dining restaurant that is open for lunch on embarkation day aboard the Disney Magic. The times can vary, but expect it to be open from around noon to 2:15 PM. You'll be able to access the exact time (and location, in case it differs) within the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, once you are either at the terminal waiting to board the ship, or onboard.
Cabanas and the poolside eateries will also be available for lunch. Ice cream will be open too! So many options for noshing in those first few hours onboard. Your stateroom will be ready around 1:30 PM, so you can drop your carry-on luggage in your stateroom and get comfortable with your home at sea.
I love the dining options onboard the Disney Magic, but my favorite restaurant has to be the adult-exclusive restaurant,
Palo. I just love the soufflé on the dessert menu at dinner and the lasagna offered during brunch time. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it now. If you'd like to try Palo, reservations are required and can be made within the Navigator app once your activity booking window opens. You can also try grabbing reservations once you are on board.
Jane, if you have more questions, please sail right back to us and ask! My pals and I will be here for you!
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
