On 16th February. For my cruise on 17th May What time in UK can I book my excursions/activities? Is it 12.01am USA west coastline time, or 12.01 USA east coastline time?

    Ahoy, Helen!

Welcome back to planDisney! You’re setting sail on the magnificent Fantasy—what an incredible choice for your first Disney cruise! My crew and I recently sailed on this stunning ship, and let me tell you, you’re in for a magical adventure! If you love a little thrill, the AquaDuck is an absolute must-do—and here’s a little insider tip: if you have late dining, ride it during the early dinner seating for shorter lines (or vice versa). Of course, you don’t want to miss the dazzling Broadway-style shows, so you might have to make a tough choice between the two. But hey, that’s a good problem to have on a Disney cruise!

Alright, let’s get back on course and talk about your all-important booking window—because you want to be ready to grab those magical experiences! Think of this like Cinderella at the stroke of midnight—except instead of a pumpkin, you’ll be unlocking Port Adventures, adult-exclusive dining, spa reservations, and more! Your booking window opens at 12:00 AM (midnight) Eastern Time (U.S.), which means for you in the United Kingdom, that’s 5:00 AM (be sure to double check my math!). Time to set that alarm and channel your inner early-rising Princess Aurora—except this time, you don’t want to oversleep!

Now that you know when you can book, let’s talk strategy! I highly recommend planning ahead so you know exactly what you want before the window opens. Here are a few of my personal favorites:

Palo Brunch – This is a must-try! The food is absolutely incredible, and the best part? You can order as much as you want. From indulgent Mickey waffles to fresh seafood and heavenly desserts, it’s an experience worth waking up for!
Port Adventures – Disney’s excursions fill up quickly, so have a few options in mind just in case your first choice books up fast.
Senses Spa – If a little relaxation is on your wish list, a spa treatment or the Rainforest Room might be just the thing to add some extra magic to your sailing.

If you have multiple must-do activities, team up with another adult in your crew and divide and conquer when booking opens—one of you can go for Palo while the other snags those dream Port Adventures! If something is unavailable, don’t lose faith like Tinker Bell’s pixie dust—keep checking back! Guests change their plans all the time, and more availability may pop up before you set sail. You can also check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or stop by Guest Services once onboard to see if any last-minute openings appear.

You’re just a few months away from setting sail on an unforgettable voyage, and I couldn’t be more excited for you! Wishing you smooth seas, short AquaDuck lines, and all the pixie dust you can carry!

Sea ya real soon with love in the air and magic everywhere,
    Dustin
