In Feb. 2024 I plan to stay at Art of Animation hotel. If I use a Disney Minnie Van to get to Magic Kingdom where will it drop me off? I hope it is not the TTC. Can I get dropped close to the entrance gate? Thank you

Hi there Susanne, and welcome to planDisney!

I'm a huge fan of the Walt Disney World Resort Transportation system and have come to enjoy it for the sheer novelty of being able to take each different mode of transport throughout each of our visits. There are admittedly times when waiting for that bus to show up or watching a boat slowly dock and unload guests just won't cut it, and luckily for those folks there's Minnie Van Service Connected by Lyft to the rescue like a bright red beacon of hope covered in polka dots.

You'll be delighted to hear that I've continually been able to see happy guests alight from their Minnie Van right in front of Magic Kingdom Park at the designated drop off location located adjacent to the buses and the security checkpoint. This is definitely one of those moments where taking a Minnie Van could definitely be much more worth scheduling any other kind of ride for the sheer convenience and proximity of where you'll be dropped off, avoiding the need to trek from the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and wait for the Walt Disney World Monorail or ferryboat. (If you're not particularly pressed for time, the distance between the drop-off location for the complimentary bus service from Disney's Art of Animation Resort really isn't that far in my opinion from the entrance to Magic Kingdom Park either with all things considered, and still much closer than the Transportation and Ticket Center!)

If you're traveling with little ones or are in need of that extra bit of comfort during your ride, a Minnie Van could really make the difference during a long day of vacation fun. In fact, we looked into using Minnie Vans this past year for our Disney Fairy Tale Wedding as one of the whimsical options to whisk our wedding guests quickly and easily to our venues both in and around the theme parks! Here's hoping that you have safe, comfortable rides and not too much of a distance to traverse on your upcoming Disney adventure; be sure to come back again for any other tips and tricks before you get here and don't forget to check out our planDisney guide to Disney's Art of Animation Resort!

Wishing you wonderful journeys at the Most Magical Place on Earth next month!
