    We are going feb 11-17 for our first visit to WD!! Staying at the Contemporary resort with the dining plan. We are planning diner with the Disney characters and will reserve shorlty. Is it necessary to reserve all other restaurant ? Thanks!!

    All of the restaurants that can have reservations made at them, you really should do it as soon as possible to avoid any disappointments.  Most of the restaurants do fill up very quickly, even though there are lots of them, they are very popular and there is nothing worse than being on the Dining Plan and ending up eating at some of your last runner up choices versus your favorites if possible.  You can always cancel them when you get there if you decide on another option for dining at that time, but I think it is better to be safe and at least have most of them in place to look forward to.  Have a wonderful trip!
