When will Feb 2023 dates be available to book?

    Hi Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney!

There is nothing like having a Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the books! As a planner myself, I always love to open the My Disney Experience App to see what my future plans hold! With everything that goes into a Disney vacation, you’ll want to be as prepared as possible. Deciding which Disney Resort Collection hotel to stay at, how many days you want to visit the parks, and what dining locations are must-dos are always at the top of my list. February is a great time to visit the Resort. The weather is usually perfect, and crowds tend to be on the lighter side. My family visited for a week this past February and we enjoyed being able to spend more time at the parks without having to deal with the Florida heat.

Disney typically announces vacation packages in the summer for the upcoming year. Based on previous years, I expect an announcement to be made sometime in the next month or so. Since you plan to arrive in February 2023, this will still allow you about 7-8 months to book your stay in advance of your trip dates. This should give you plenty of time to build your itinerary and be ready to book once available. Once reservations open, head over to the Walt Disney World website to start the booking process. It’s as simple as entering your travel dates and number of Guests in your party to get started.  I would advise you to start the planning process now to be fully prepared when they are ready to go.

You do have one additional option when it comes to booking part of your stay now. Disney allows you to book a room-only reservation up to 499 days in advance of your stay. If you have decided on the resort, you can make these reservations at any time. To do so, you will need to call the Walt Disney World Resort line and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. Once the vacation packages become available, you have the option to add theme park tickets and create a custom package.

If you prefer to work one-on-one with an individual that you can consult, I recommend contacting an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. These individuals can book your entire stay, including airfare, airport transportation, resort reservations, and ticket packages. Simply perform a Google search and you will have a ton of options to choose from. The best part about using a Vacation Planner is there is no extra cost to you. You will pay the same amount for your vacation as if you booked it yourself!

Stephanie, best of luck planning your next Walt Disney World vacation! Stop back anytime to planDisney with additional questions!
