When faxing a room request to a Disney Resort what information should I include? How far in advance should I fax it in? Thanks so much! I couldn't have so much fun planning without the Mom's Panel!!!!!

Hi Nicole!  I like to keep things simple when faxing a request in to a resort.  Make sure you state the name correctly that the reservation is in.  Sometimes people use one name and the reservation is in another and they are disappointed they didn't get their request.  The Disney cast members are wonderful but they can't make the magic without the correct info!

I would include the reservation name, number, and arrival and departure date.  A simple line regarding your room request is all you need. I also like to put a contact number in case there is a question but no one has ever needed to call me.

Send your FAX no more then five days out and I like to do this about 4 days from the arrival date. If you send it too far in advance it could get lost!

Hope this helps and hope you get the request honored.  Please understand you are not the only one requesting and although Disney will do the best they can they can't promise anything.  Sometimes many families are wishing for the same kind of room!
