Hello my favourite moms and dads.I am coming to wdw in jan for ten nights and my family and I would like to go fishing. What are the options to do that on disneyworld?? Thankyou, you are the best!!

    Hi Cattis,

Thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel and I'm thrilled for you spending ten glorious days at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Yes, fishing can be a wonderful recreational activity for your family to enjoy and Walt Disney World Resort offers several options to do so. You can spend very little with dockside fishing or splurge a bit on a guided excursion. The "Gastons" in my family booked a guided excursion a few years back and raved about the experience. All fishing is catch and release. With about ten different fishing locations to choose from, I'd recommend giving 407-WDW-BASS a call to discuss what will work best for your itinerary. If you'd simply like to rent a rod and reel or experience traditional cane-pole fishing, you can do so at either the Bike Barn at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground or from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, respectively.

I hope you reel one in, Cattis, and have the most magical vacation with your family. Thanks again for the great question and please do visit us again with anything else coming to mind.
