What are some favorite restuarant suggestions for Quick Service & Table Side restuarants in Dwntwn Disney? and close to Cirque Du Soliel?. Would like to eat dinner before 6pm show and what is a good time to schedule reserv. for early dinner? thanks

Hi Denise!  I did this very same thing last December when I took my mother to Disney for a vacation and included the Cirque du Soleil show.

Downtown Disney offers many choices and is spread out so we wanted something fairly close to the show so we wouldn't be rushing to get there. Your best choices for that will be in the West Side section. We opted for Wolfgang Pucks which will give you table service and quick service choices at the same location. It is a five minute walk to the show. Another good option is Bongo's Cuban Cafe located next door. This has a dining room as well as a quick service window. Another popular restaurant is about a 10 minute walk and it is the Planet Hollywood. Kids love to see all the Hollywood memorabilia located throughout the three levels of this spot.

I would suggest an early dinner that day.....I called it a "linner" which was my way of saying it was half lunch and half dinner. Try for times between 4-4:30. The restaurants are not crowded at that time and service is usually quick but you don't want to risk having to rush through and be late to the show. They generally want you to arrive no later then 20 minutes before showtime and 30 minutes is even better.

Hope this helps with your planning...let me know if we can help in any other way!
