What are your favorite restaurants (on the dining plan) to take younger children to that still have great food for adults? We're going to Disney World with a 2 1/2 year old and I want to make advanced dining reservations, but am overwhelmed by the choices

    Hi, Lauryn!

I am familiar with most of the WDW restaurants and I am still overwhelmed by the choices!  There are just so many great choices, so little time!   Remember that with your 2 year old, he/she will eat free if sharing off your plate. This works great at buffets and family style since these are all-you-care-to-eat.

Some favorite locations that will be great with your little Mouseketeer!

-Chef Mickey's for dinner (buffet at the Contemporary, featuring Mickey and Pals!)
-Cape May for dinner (seafood buffet at Beach Club)
-Crystal Palace for breakfast or lunch (all day buffet at the Magic Kingdom - hosted by Pooh and Friends!)
-50's Prime Time Café at Hollywood Studios
-Chefs de France in Epcot (no worries - they have chicken fingers and fries!)
-Plaza Restaurant (great sandwich shop in Magic Kingdom. Awesome desserts!)

This list should get you started!  Look up the menus at AllEars.net and see what you think!  If you need more ideas, just let me know! As the mom of two kids, I know how you feel, so keep me posted!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
