Hi! What are your favorite resorts in each catagory? Thank you again for your help and advice.

I'm going to try to tackle this challenge of picking favorites. I  have to admit that I'm a huge WDW resort fan though. I enjoy the resorts at least as much as the parks!

    Okay, here goes.
    Value
All Star Movies. The larger than life movie icons make fabulous photo backdrops. My son got to say good-night to his beloved Herbie the Love Bug car.

    Moderate
Port Orleans French Quarter. Lots of great memories here too. I enjoy the Sassagoula Riverboat to Downtown Disney. The resort is small enough to be charming. I enjoyed this resort alone with my husband and also as parents. The walk over to Port Orleans Riverside is very relaxing.

    Deluxe
First I have to pick between the lodges (if that is possible) since they are less expensive that the other deluxe resorts. It's a really tough choice but I think I'm leaning towards the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's exotic, yet cozy. Having breakfast on our balcony and watching my son's eyes light up at the grazing giraffes is just one of my special memories. I enjoy the pool area with its zero entry depth.

From the other deluxes, I have to choose the Grand Floridian. We honeymooned there. We celebrated our 10th anniversary, including riding Cinderella's Coach through the courtyard after renewing our vows at the Wedding Pavilion. My 8 year old son says it is his favorite resort too. It might be the turndown service with chocolates on the pool, the pirate adventure cruise or the Wii games near the pool that swing his vote. I like the Victorian elegance. The monorail access to the Magic Kingdom is convenient.

    DVC
Beach Club villas. Walking or taking the boat to Epcot and Hollywood Studios makes two parks very convenient. Stormalong Bay is great fun, especially for kids. I enjoy the walk over to the Boardwalk Resort. There are many restaurants nearby. It seems low-key and relaxing.
