Hello, Elizabeth,
Thank you for sending your question to planDisney, and it is a great question to think about all the possible answers.
Disney Springs is a nearly a dining theme park with all of the many restaurants. It is hard to settle on just one as a favorite.
I love that your plans started with dessert! I am now daydreaming about the cookies from
Gideon's Bakehouse. So much yummy goodness in a single cookie! To help with your lunch plans, I'll share a handful of my family's favorite
quick service spots at Disney Springs. The Polite Pig offers a menu of many smoked options from salmon to ribs to chicken. The sides, too, are super fun with options like roasted beets and bbq cauliflower. I could make a meal of just sides there. Salads and wraps are also on the menu.
D-Luxe Burger is my husband's favorite spot. For him, hamburgers and fries are the best vacation food. There are a variety to choose from with great toppings and flavors and even some limited-time offerings, too. We find the hamburgers are easily shareable, but we have to then agree on which one to try which is challenging for us.
For some light nibbles,
The Basket at Wine George provides guests with little bites to build their own charcuterie lunch. I love being able to sample lots of different tastes, and the selection of frozen drinks is also fun, especially on warmer days.
My sons also have loved the
Earl of Sandwich since they first visited it as children. The menu has more traditional sandwiches and also lighter ones like the Caprese (my favorite!) and its yummy basil and tomato flavor. My son thinks the Cannonball (meatball and marinara) is one of the best sandwiches ever made.
As I looked over all the
quick-service restaurants at Disney Springs, I feel like I have just scratched the surface of great places. If you look over the list and find you have more questions, please let us know. We are all happy to share our thoughts and opinions about our experience with the restaurants.
Wishing you a magical trip!
Kara
