    What are your favorite counter service eateries in the World Showcase?

    As a former cookbook editor, I'm a foodie, and you couldn't have asked me a better question!

    My #1 counter service restaurant in World Showcase happens to be one of my favorites from all of the theme parks: Tangierine Cafe.  Although it's hard to resist their wraps, I usually order a chicken platter for its sides of hummus, tabouleah, and couscous. They also have a frozen slushy machine that is my soft-spot for a cool, refreshing drink that takes care of dessert, too. The meal is hearty enough and the outdoor seating so pleasant, the entire dining experience seems more like a table service meal to me. If you time it right, you can hear Mo Rockin' playing across the walkway for an authentic musical experience.

    My #2 choice is France's Boulangerie Patisserie, more for its dessert case, but it also features affordable quiches, ham & cheese croissants, and a tomato pastry that, when warmed, reminded me of a high-class,  open-faced pepperoni hot pocket! A good choice if you're watching your budget or have picky eaters because everything is a la carte.
