Hello Taylor!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you submitted your question to us.
Pin Trading is one of Disney’s most cherished traditions! The Disneyland Resort offers a variety of pins and trading locations, in both the parks and hotel resorts! I can see why you want to know if you can partake in this continued tradition.
I have talked with a Cast Member and Peyton said the rumors are just that - rumors! Disneyland Resort will continue to offer pin trading to guests! As long as your pins are official Disney pins and not one the Cast Member already has on their lanyard, you can trade to your heart’s desire! Be sure to remember the
Pin Trading Etiquette, and Hakuna Matata (it means no worries!).
When you arrive at the parks, be sure to check out all these amazing pin-trading locations:
Disney’s Pin Traders is a fun stop when you’re shopping in Downtown Disney District.
20th Century Music Company in Disneyland Park is a great way to escape the crowds on Main Street, U.S.A.
Planning on joining the First Order?
First Order Cargo is sure to have some pins that showcase your allegiance.
Westward Ho Trading Company’s pins are the wildest in the wilderness!
Avengers Vault has unique pins you can’t find across the multiverse!
If you’re staying at a hotel resort, check out
Disney’s Fantasia Shop in Disneyland Hotel or
Acorns Gifts & Goods in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
So bring on your extensive pin collection to the parks and be sure to find a Cast Member whose lanyard may lack a certain pin or two. I’m sure they’ll love what offerings you have.
Happy trading!
Tiffany
