Hi there, Arlene!
It's great to see that you're already planning for Father's Day with seven weeks to spare! You must have a fantastic dad in your life to celebrate. Thank you for reaching out to us at planDisney.
While I don't have any insider information on what Disney has in store for celebrating Father's Day this year, based on my experience, I can say that there will likely be some special activities and merchandise. For example, last year, I enjoyed a lovely Mother's Day brunch at
Goofy's Kitchen, and I know they also hosted a Father's Day event there. I would recommend
making a dining reservation as soon as possible since tables for special occasions tend to fill up faster than Ariel can say “
But Daddy, I love him!".Additionally, Disneyland Resort typically offers a special
commemorative pin featuring one of the famous Disney dads. So Arlene, if you want to stay in the know about any other special surprises or events, make sure to stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information.
But Arlene, even if there aren't any special events offered this year, there's still plenty of fun to be had at Disneyland for our special guys. This spring,
Mickey's Toontown reopened with Goofy's home being reimagined as
Goofy's How-to-Play Yard. If you're a 90s kid like me, you'll love seeing Max and Goofy's Father-Son photo framed on the wall that's perfect for a Father's Day photo op!
Make sure to add the
Planet Batuu to your itinerary when you visit the
Disneyland Park. Not only can you
get a photo with the Mandalorian and Grogu, but you can even try your hand at
bounty hunting for a playful, unique experience that you and family can bond over. It's a great way to create out-of-this-world memories together!
If your dad is a Marvel fan, he'll likely enjoy the
Avengers Campus over at
Disney California Adventure. He can immerse himself in the Marvel universe, meet some of his favorite heroes and villains, and even participate in some exciting interactive experiences. It’s the perfect place for your dad to feel like a superhero himself!
I hope this information is helpful to you, Arlene. Feel free to
reach out again if you have any more questions as you continue to plan your visit.
Remember who you are,
Danielle
